Loldemort, hello. Newcomers are always welcome here.
I had problems with my native language while learning English at times. Did not have any while learning German in English though... Generally yes, some things get tricky especially if grammars of these languages are similar.
How do you like French?

dovelet, it's fascinating but also hard. Meah, it's a language which nobody can understand, even the French themselves. You know, they ask each other again all the time! "Pardon, qu'est-ce que tu as dit? What did you say?"

Loldemort, but they are very proud of their language anyway;) For me, German is much more complicated than French.

Ром Торором, have you tried watching YouTube videos, tv shows and movies in English? That's the #1 thing I recommend to everyone who's trying to learn English... or any other language, in fact.

dovelet, what kind of difficulties do you experience with your native language though? Is it the problem of finding the corresponding words and phrases in a foreign language?

I often hear that they are arrogant that way. Your French is not necessarily bad.

Пэйджик, it is a problem like "how the hell say this in Russian?! I do know the perfect word/phrase in English for that but I need my native language now, grrr!"
